1. Policy Statement
Edina Healthcare Ltd is committed to achieving net zero carbon emissions across its operations by 31st December 2025 or earlier. We recognise our responsibility to minimise our environmental footprint and contribute to a more sustainable healthcare system in line with NHS Net Zero goals, Care Quality Commission (CQC) expectations, and the HTE Europe procurement framework requirements.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all staff, contractors, suppliers, and services delivered by Edina Healthcare Ltd across all sites and geographies in which we operate.
3. Objectives
To deliver on our net zero commitment, we will:
- Measure, reduce, and report our carbon emissions across Scope 1, 2, and relevant Scope 3 emissions.
- Embed sustainability in all decision-making processes.
- Engage staff, suppliers, and partners in supporting our net zero ambition.
- Align with the Greener NHS and NHS England’s Delivering a Net Zero NHS plan.
- Maintain full compliance with CQC Key Line of Enquiry (KLOE) W7
4. Emissions Baseline and Targets
Our emissions baseline was established in 2023 using the Greenhouse Gas Protocol.
